92 yota camary

I'm looking to buy a 92 camary off my friend for a beater. It will be put on the road and i wanna try to not drive my truck every day anymore, miles are adding up quick. There's only one problem with the camary and i was looking for some suggestions. its a 5speed standard car. The problem is if you start the car in neutral you cant put it in any gear, but if its in gear and you start it everything works fine. I was thinking something like a neutral safety switch but i wasn't to sure ? any help ?

thats a cluch problem. The clutch is not releasing all the way. Clutch master cylinder or slave cylinder or try changing and bleeding the clutch system.

Yeah i was a little worried about that lol, i figured as much though. The car was beat on one night in a feild and the clutch got over heated. Its a transaxle so its not to bad to take it out, or so i hope !
