07 chevy 2500 6.0l stock tranny tune wimpy

I hate the shift pattern on my 07 chevy, 2500cc 4x4 6.0l. I wish it would hold the gears longer while under acceleration, and also downshift quicker when you give it gas. I hate driving around town doing 35-40 mph and being in 6th gear. I know I can shift manually, but it is a pian to do this all the time. I got a bulleydog triple dog tuner a few years ago and it definately improves performance, but you can't change shift points or firmness. though it may do this when you select a performance tune, I would still like to choose how I want the tranny to shift. my truck is stock.
Is there another tuner that is better, or would a local shop with a chassis dyno be able to help?
Also, if a local shop tuned it, wouldn't it be a pain to have to retune it to bring it in for warranty work?

Talk to blackbear performance, they can tune 6L90's.

No handheld will give you what you want.
