Hopefully the complete tbi maf code thread

Many of you will open this expecting a detailed how-to. Hopefully there will be one in time. So anyway, I have yet to find all the info i and others like me need. Many attempted threads over the years but everyone is assumed to be an e.e. Basically im hoping the in-crowd will come in here and walk us through in simple terms. Even better with pictures. Unfortunately im an e.e. idiot so i know little to nothing about wiring. In particular we the people need to know how to make this work with a 4l60e. Ive been looking over threads on here and tgo but the conversations just go off in other directions. Another thing is the files ive downloaded never have a 4l60e option. Just manual or 700r4. I know oldred95 made it work before swapping to a 4l80e. Hopefully he will demystify this black magic. I realize this may or may not pass with a smog ref in ca so i would think there may be a way to run egr with a second 7427 etc. and see what happens.

Stupid phone ran out of space to type...anyway i dont even remember if any emissions code was left in. There needs to be a way to run everything. Im sure a second pcm could be used to run all emissions and trans or any other combo. Im broke as a joke but im willing to be the dunce to try getting it approved by a ref. if it can happen. I would think it would be easier to keep emissions low with a maf as opposed to just map. That could be my argument to them along with a tail pipe test to prove the same or cleaner levels. The bottom line is im sure a lot of ca members would greatly appreciate an alternative to months or even years of chip burning. I hope this thread doesnt sink and die before its time as many others have before. This is sticky material if and when it ever gets resolution. I will hope for the best. It can and will change the tbi world for more than the 3 or 4 that have done it. All credit goes to the code creator and co-conspiritors. You know who you are and you have all the answers we need!
