I have a 2004 Z71 extended cab. I'm 5 ft 8 and have a hard time getting to the entire top when waxing. Was wondering if anyone had any suggestion

I can get most of it pretty good but there is a place right above the rearview mirror that all I realy do is smear a little wax on but can't put any preassure on it taking it off

Stand inside the bed. That has always worked for me. Or stand on the front tire and lean lol.

I usually just stand outside the truck & do the roof I am 6' & my truck is dropped 4/6 so its pretty easy to get most of the top. Sometimes I have to stand in the bed to reach right in the center front.

The last time I stood on the door sill both feet slipped out and I ran my ribs down the top of the door. Have a bruise the size of Texas. :owned:

Almost did that with my Tahoe. Was standing on the door sill/running boards, slipped and was lucky enough to grab the roof rack in time. Being 6ft 260lbs I didn't think it was gonna hold the shock of me grabbing it and almost falling.
Needless to say..., I use a ladder now

Werner Aluminum Work Platform from Home Depot. Best 40 bucks you can spend for detailing trucks.

Find a steep hill, drive forward and slowly pull the passenger side front and rear tires up the hill till truck rolls on side, and most importantly be sure to use a clean cloth.
