I'm about to swap the 280k mile 350tbi from my 95 k1500 with a new 350 vortec longblock i picked up. I 'think' I know some of the basics of vortec swaps but know I will likely need a hand.

What I have:
350 Vortec long block-has roller cam set up, new vortec heads (with single hump)
Weiand 8151P (http://www.holley.com/8151P.asp) Vortec dual plane intake manifold
GMPP 14097395 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/NAL-14097395/) Roller Cam
Gasket set
Used WhippleCharger/Opcon TBI Supercharger (this likely will not be installed, but I guess its open for trading)
Airaid TBI intake
Also have what ever is on the old engine, but its far from my location at the moment.

What I plan to pick up:
XtremeFI TBI & Injectors (size undecided)
Z06 Beehive Springs
CompCams 787-16 retainers & 648-16 locks
CompCams 26918-16 1.6 magnum roller tip rockers
Holley sq bore TBI adapter
GM melonized distr gear

This will be my first Vortec-anything, so I could use some help with any details that may be missing.

thanks a bunch guys!

No updates yet. The brown truck is still showing up with parts. Haven't had time to put it together yet. The lady is yelling at me with the small mountain of parts I've collected. I Will have some pics in 2 weeks for sure. Meanwhile, I'll keep collecting parts and knowledge.
The supercharger is definitely not going on :(
I just don't want to have to tune with it, can't say it wouldn't have been fun though.

Then don't put the vortec engine in it. It will not run for crap on the stock tune.

Indeed, you will need to tune it to run it with a cam and Vortec heads for sure. Where are you in AZ?

I know the thread's slightly older, but an EBL will suit you nicely.
