I don't think they make the 10 series in the Delta Flow. What size pipe are you running, and where does it exit?

yea, i have dual 2.5" single chamber flows running straight out the back with 3.5" tips and it sounds louder then my magnaflows but it not like omg that things a monster loud, so I dont know how it would sound to dump my dual single chamber flows? Also I have a H pipe does that quiet them down? Last will these mufflers get louder over time and how long in time?

After looking at the Flowmaster website, I'm still confused...whats a single chamber mean? Does that mean that you only have one inlet an one outlet?

flowmasters will not get louder over time because there is no packing in them to "wear in". they will only get louder if the insides totally rust and hollow out(not likely)
as far as dumping. it tends to increase interior resonance because the sound bounces off the ground right back up into the body.

The longer the pipe is the deeper the sound is, if it shorter, it might be louder, but it will be a higher pitch than if you run it out the back to echo tips

00 Silverado5.3, how does your dual single chamber flows sound? What is the difference in echo tips and regular tips like I have? Also if you got a pic of your echo tips.

I have 3.5 inch echo tips. Any bigger on a non lifted truck and it will look tacky ( in my opinion) and the bigger you go the louder it is, which equals ( more drone at cruising speeds) My friend has a 96 z71 with 10 series and it doesn't sound as good as my 5.3 with 10 series. I don't know why either

One chamber means theres is only one inside the muffler. 10series are 1 chambers. 40series are 2chambers. I forgot the rest.
