My dad owns an auto shop in GA and wants to start flashing ECMs. He has a Snap-on Verus scanner with the Pass Thru Pro II ecm flasher. Does anyone know where to get the actual tune so he could do this in house? He has tried asking the Snap-on rep but he doesn't know much. I have a spare ECM for my truck to test with just so its not a customers car that gets fried.:D

You have to create the tune. Flashing is the easy part, the skill comes from the actual tuning or changing of the parameters.
Tech 2 can flash stock tunes, and can be sued to flash performance tunes into PCM/ECMs.

What is Tech 2? I am just wondering how people such as pcm4less, Blackbear, etc. get the tune to flash onto the stock computer.
