Here's the Lowdown
Location Central Florida
STATS:
1995
210,000
Automatic
4WD
4DR
White(with gold bottom 1/4)
Tan Leather
Also has a short ram air intake(installed prior to my owning)
History:
I got it with 140,000 and its been a great reliable vehicle
I've replaced the fuel pump, starter, oil pressure switch and have
had the head gasket replaced.(I have a new water pump to be installed old one is leaking)
Otherwise the tahoe has been excellent, I always wanted one, I've had one and its never let me down. But now we need something smaller.
Pros:
Good strong engine, good tires
straight frame, and no major body damage, some rust on front edge of hood(from poorly installed bug shield)
Cons:
Transmission slipping in 1st gear, I've parked it the day it started. vehicle can be driven in 4wd to eliminate the slipping so it might be something minor
Needs new water pump(brand new pump with seals included in purchase)
its a 1995, so things show their age, mostly the leather prior owner didn't take care
of the leather so the driver seat has a couple cracks in it(dealer I bought it from bandaided the leather and I didn't notice till a few weeks went by and the patch cracked)
Why we are getting rid of it, we don't need it any longer
we are having a child and its too tall for my wife to lift a car seat in and out.
