Does anyone here have experience tuning with EFI Live? I'm considering buying it or possibly HP. I downloaded the demo version and have been playing around with it. I'm wondering if this is something I'm going to be able to figure out on my own or if I'm going to have to take a class.

I have HPtuners. If you aren't willing to put in a lot of time reading and studying, don't bother.
I am constantly reading the forums and guides and I still learn something new every time.

I figured out how to change the display units from metric to imperial and now it's making alot more sense. I'm going to start by getting rid of that stupid torque management and then learn one more thing at a time. We'll see!

Screwing with those damn displays is the 2nd most time consuming aspect of EFILive, 1st most is the datalogging once you get the hang of it. I should specify that once you think you have a handle on it, you learn something else by sticking with the forums. TM and timing is where the power's at if you're willing to spring for premium fuel. For some reason, the VE map will blow ass right from the factory, boggles the mind. PE fuel will probably be in the 11's, so that can be cut back a bit too. Get rid of the cat converter saver and piston saver while you're at it, they both dump fuel as well.
