FEELER - What do you guys think I could get for the truck, or is anyone interested in it? Would like to start at 7k

Location: Truck will be in Highland Park, IL once i get back from school may 4th

I'm going to start by putting up a feeler for my truck, it is not officially for sale at this time. Its a 98 K1500 Silverado ECSB 5.7. Fully loaded with options, 167xxx miles. Indigo blue on pewter two tone, rare and very beautiful color. Paint looks like new, ive never seen an OBS in as good condition. I'm the second owner, bought in dec. 08. Had been garage kept up to then. Has nice dunlop A/T tires with about 12k on them. Transmission was professionally rebuilt in sep. 09 with a shift kit and upgraded internals. This past august, I had the rust that was starting to form on the bottom of the doors professionally removed, with the metal being replaced with fresh sheet metal on the 3rd door. He did an astonishing job on all 3 doors, it looks like brand new. Has new brakes in rear (drums and shoes) and 10k on front ones. New master cyl. and brake booster last month with rears. Got a blackbear tune for it last year, runs AWESOME. Shifts are just perfect with new trans, shift kit, and the tune. Has very nice exhaust (march 2010), volant cold air, jacobs ignition, electric fan, $200 diehard platinum battery (march 09). Also has professionally tinted front windows at 35%. Only problem is a minor coolant leak that just started this year, doesnt seem to affect collant level at all. Extras: comes with very nice chrome step tubes, soft tonneau cover, extra set of rims (blue painted steelies). It has gray cloth, with nice seats and console, including overhead console also.

Yes, go to school here, but would not be able to sell the truck out here

No I don't, really just drive between school and home. Id be more than willing to let you look at it here but I will have to tell you that I definately won't be able to let it go until mid-May, while I am at home. There are a few things I need to do to the truck before I actually post it up, such as remove my sound system and such. But yeah for sure if you want to look at it here at school and decide you may be interested, I could meet you halfway from Chicago or something.

I really don't want to drive half way to Chicago to look at a truck. I would be willing to meet you in Mattoon and look at it. If I like it I will just not buy it until you get what you need out of it. I would be willing to drive half way to Chicago to pick it up when ready.

Yes tranny was rebuilt in september of 2009 with upgraded internals and a reman torque converter and a shift kit.
