Ok I have a 05 z71 x-cab 4.8L . i have a 14" Oval magnaflow Catback 3" SI/2.5"DO and running streight out the back with 3.5" tips 18" long . driving today and my pass side tailpipe broke off about 6" after the mufler where the muffler shop welded it on while back . Now before i put it back on Do you guys think i should change my angle and stuff instead of putting it back on like it was . My truck is completly stock ecept for the magnaflow catback system . reason i ask is because i here you guys talking about turn downs and dumping them stuff like that I dont Know too much about that stuff so could use some info on it. what do you guys think i should do here , My setup sounds good the way it was but is there other ways to make it sound even better than it is now without loosing any power or anytthing , little extra drone wont hurt me either , but less the better. ? should i angle the tailpipes out the rear sides after the tires /keep them out back/ or dump them before or after the rearend , if so what angles should i go with and how far from the muffler should i go. any advice would be great before i take it down to the muffler shop again

I suggest keeping it like it is to keep it from droning at all, and change the exhaust upstream. You can add louder highflow cats or get some longtube headers. If you get longtubes and a custom PCM tune and tune out the cat so you don't run cats at all, that'll make a night and day difference, won't sound like the same truck.

I'd go with 45's under the back bumper. i think SierraDan gave me some advice on the position of the tailpipes lol

If you do 45's they may drone more than straight out the back, but a lot less than 90's behind each tire. In my experience straight out the back drones the least.
