my son has a 1994 ext cab z71 sportside 4x4. hes looking to trade for something newer. thought id see if there was interest here first. he's looking at $5900. it has

full power
3.42 posi rear
bucket seats and console
350/auto
new 285/75-16 peerless baja tires on american racing wheels
push bar
fiberglass tonnue cover(not in pic)
power slider rear window
new dual exhaust
had driverside cab corner replaced by body shop august 2010.
underneth is beautiful.must have been southern truck cause basically rust free. rust is starting on bottom edge of doors, just to be honest.
everything works and runs great.

I don't mean to sound rude, but if you can find a truck like this for 3000, buy it.

sure........no problem. the truck has 140k. supposably motor/tranny rebuilt with 40k. no documentation, just po word. runs real good, no probs, no noises. I know he put this up for 5,000 on the local craigslist the other day. real nice truck. you can buy a truck for $3000 and put money into it to be this nice or you can start with a rust free, trouble free truck for $5000 and be way ahead. to be honest, you cant buy a 4wheeler for that price.so again.............if you can find a truck like this for $3000, buy it.

Can you post up some pictures of the undercarriage and the known rust areas under the doors?

Edit: Also assuming everything is in proper working order, i.e. p/w, p/l, a/c, heat, cruise, etc?
