ok heres my story i brought a 02 silverado a few week ago. last night i tryed to use the tow/haul botton and the light on the dash didnot come on.so i came home and did a search and found that the wire in the shifter brakes at the bottom .tore it down and hot dam!!! the wire was broke so fixed it took a ride and hit the botton light came on went to pass a car at wot and the rpms went crazy jumping around and the tranny was like it was going in and out of gear bucking and jumping.so got home took the wire back aloose and now the truck is fine.....anyone knows what the hell is going on???????
