2008 Silverado - replacement shocks?

I have a 2008 1/2 extended cab Silverado that I use to pull a 7 X 16 enclosed trailer with a couple of ATVs and a couple of dirt bikes inside (and probably another 500 pounds of A/C, gear, gas, tools, etc.).

What would be the best shocks to replace the OEM units given the above info?

Bilstein HD's or similar good quality shock.

I got bilstein HDs and like them. They control the trailer real well, but do cause a very slightly stiffer ride empty. I'm missing my front bump stops, and they take the abuse of bottoming out all the time.
