I have a chance to buy a 2005 chevy 2500HD Duramax crew cab for $23,000. It has 72,000 miles on it the exterior of the truck is in good condition, the interitor is not very good. Do you think this is a good deal or not?

What kind of options does it have? Also is it private or a dealer? For a decently optioned 4x4 that seems about right. Anything else its a couple thousand too much.

Sounds on par assuming it's a well optioned truck.

****ty interior negates that for me though. Wouldn't pay over 20 for the truck in the condition you described.

I just bought a 2005 3500hd w/ 125000 miles and duramax with oversized tires + oem wheels, k&n, spray bedliner, aftermarket exhaust, etc. bed box, fully loaded for $18,000. Body is near perfect with one small dent in tailgate.

Dear dgdukefan,

I have read your post about seeking the opinion of others about purchasing the 2005 Chevrolet 2500HD Duramax truck for $23,000.00. I am sure that there will be many members of the forum that will provide you with their opinion of the pricing. However, you should also be able to get a ball park value of what this vehicle might be worth by visiting the Kelly Blue Book site, if you have not done so already. There might be a local Chevrolet dealership that would assist you with this type of information if you are not going through a dealership on this vehicle.

I just wanted to put a couple of avenues out there for you to try if you haven't tried them already. Just keep in mind that this is something that must fit into your budget.
