looking to do this in the rear possibly. Would it be easyer to try to bow the wheel well or cut them like u did? Just put a new bedside on and dont wana cut it if i dont have to lol I wana bag my truck but the rear sits right on the edge of the wheel wells. :dunno:

for as low as you would need to go to bag it i think the wheel wells would be WAY to high to raise them for your clearance. i do not have any experiance in stretching the wheel wells out for that purpose so i dont know how far you can take them. i think the right way to go is to narrow your rear or change your back spacing.

not sure who narrows rear ends here in tx. Would it be safe to put my wheels on a lathe and change the offset, i have plenty of metal on the rim and plenty of room to offset them in more, just hurd its not safe? Either way would save me a ton of work in body labor and time.

Question just occurred to me. Are you going to raise the fender lips on the rear as well in order to match the front height?

no, with the caddy clip i like the look of high front openings and low rears, it kind reminds me of an old school caddy with wheel skirts!!

Looks killer! Was thinking of raising the fenders on my new truck to allow me to clear some 35's without a lift! This thread gave me all the confidence I needed to know that it can be done!

just a though and it will look one of 2 ways killer or ****ty when you do your rears would it be possible to make a skirt too and really give it that old scholl caddy look
