hey guys just wanted to say whats up and show u guys my truck. lookin forward to learning more about it. i got it recently for 1700 bucks. its a 77 k20 pickup with an 84 nose. crate 350, edelbrock intake and 650 cfm carb, 4 speed granny low, np205, corporate front, 14bolt rear, 6(?) inch lift, 36in super swampers. Ive put about 400 into it, i replaced the power steering pump, gear box, front u-joints, steering damper, one tie rod, all 4 ball joints, new air cleaner, tune up, and alignment.
the truck has headers to straight pipes with glass packs that end halfway down the bed, i got the grill from my girlfriends father, and recently removed and repair the tailgate and its brackets and did some welding, truck has a nice custom ram bar up front, and also just got a new windshield.

driveshafts are a dime a dozen around here, your head lights look funny for some reason.

His grille and headlight bezels look funny because he's got an 81/82 grille with 83-87 Custom Deluxe headlight bezels (single headlight). Still a great start to a project, I love most K20's.

You sure that truck is a 77?? Has a semi float rear and a 10 bolt front?? 77 should have a full float rear and a Dana 44 front. Not a bad truck tho!!!!

There is no mention of the rear axle being a semi floater, looks to be full floater to me (8-lug) and the 10 bolt and D44 are so similar looking and have nearly the same level of strength that it doesn't matter.
Nice looking rig! Whats the future plans?

It's semi-float, no big hub in the first picture. Knowing these trucks it's been swapped.
Looks pretty good. That truck would have been for sale for 5000 up here.

Didn't have to mention if it was full or semi, can see what it is. Same for the front axle. The 10 bolt was based off the 44, so no strength increase or decrease. I was just mentioning that someone was into this truck, it indeed it is a 77, it shouldn't have those parts. But it doesn't really matter, as long as the owner likes it, that's all that counts.
I'd leave it the way it is, and wheel it!!!!!

Decently looking K20. Got any pictures of the interior? First thing i noticed as well, were the axles. The Dash board would be one of the easiest ways to tell if its a 70s or 80s model truck.
Here is a shot of my truck.
