Going to rebuild the front end of my truck, 97 silverado xtra cab 2wd with a 6" fabtech lift.

Most of the items needed I can order OEM equipment but my question is for the upper Ball Joints. where do I get replacement Upper Ball joints for the Tubular upper a-arm? Also, do they offer sealed upper ball joints?

Also thinking about replacing the fabtech coils with a fresh pair. Is it possible to get bigger coils to squeeze another inch out of the lift?

any advice will be greatly appreciated

thanks

I wouldnt put bigger coils. I know of one guy on GMFS before he put on coilovers he crammed 1.5" spacers the coils bowed out and almost hit his sway bar and other important things. If you want a bigger lift replace the coils with original fabtech coils and throw on a small BL

ok I'll leave it be, just wondering if I could get away with it. Does anyone have a PN for upper ball joint?

I mean ya u can get away with it. But i would hate to see somebody lose their vehicle because of a few inches

well I was wondering if its been done and worked out, if its gonna cause problems, then forget it. I was also thinking of going eibach coils also.

however priority one is swapping out my ball joints, and i cant seem to find the right ones online

Your best bet would be to contact Fabtech and ask for a part number for the balljoint.
