Auto Stripping Cost?

I'm tryin to get another truck stripped and primed. I'd do it myself, but I work 80 hours a week and I have a family. I went through American Stripping in Sacramento for my C10, and from what I've been told, it was very overpriced. What should a good media blasting and some primer cost for a single cab standard bed truck?

Nobody has a ballpark estimate? Last time it was over 5k and there was no rust, I disassembled the truck myself, hauled it down personally, and it just got blasted and epoxy primed. Am I wrong for thinking that the price was over the top?

dipping is way cheaper than blasting around here, but blasting is better IMO....you can never get all the chemicals out of all the nooks and crannies when you dip it

Is there anyone there tht does sodablasting it is cheaper and works awsome

try googleing mobile soda blasting. I've seen advertisements on TV for it.

I'll definitely look for that. A mobile set up would be a whole lot more convenient too. I'd like to get every inch I can, so I disassemble it about as much as possible, and making a ton of trips to a shop 30 minutes away is kinda a huge pain in the ass.
