I want to buy the 10 inch strip lights from autozone or checker. How do i wire them in so they light up the footwell area?
Find a hot wire, find a good ground, put a fuse and switch in there, and mount them. Nothing to it. Ive got blue LED strips in mine.

No, mine come on whenever I flip the switch for them on. And I tapped into the wires for the stock interior lights.

I wired my positive and negative wires into a cigarette lighter plug, and I got some deal from Walmart a long time ago that is a single socket to three socket adapter that has some switches wired to it.
I regret doing all my little lights now though...hardly ever turn them on and spent too much money just to have blue interior lighting

I have a kit form LEDGLOW. It came with 4 9in LED bars, all of the wiring, a control box, and mounting brackets. I wired them into my fuse box to the radio battery.

its pretty easy to follow this write up. I wired my lights up so they work with the dome light probably took ~45 minutes max, including a few breaks to talk with buddies and such

I looked at it and it is easy, I found the wire to splice into. I just havn't had the time to do this.

This is what I have...

All the wiring you do is connecting the + & - to the 12V plug
