Im just thinking of **** to do to my truck instead of selling it after I install my 5"front lift this week I want bigger tires.. but Im throwing around the idea of a 3" Bodylift... How big of tires can I clear and will the said tires fit my 17" denali wheels or will I need aftermarket wheels?.. Also I currently have 3.73 and 265/70/17s and I'm getting 20mpg on the freeway very happy with that will 34" or 35" tires be horrible on 3.73s until I get money for 4.11s?

your not gonna fit 35s with this much lift unless you heavily trim im lookin at 34s is the biggest i can go and i have 5in plus 3 bl

You can clear 35s with 5/3 + 3. I clear 315 70 17 with my lift on 5" backspaced wheels and all I would nee to trim is a slight bit off the rear fender plastics. I was going to run 35 12.50 20s on my 7" but decided against it last minute.

Chevy4life - you should have no problems clearing a 315. Remember, when you get that large of a tire it will provide a little bit more lift for you. 265 = 31.50" tall and a 315 = 34.50" tall so over all you would gain 1.5" in height just off the tires in addition to the height you currently have

No worries man!

I have some 1/4" spacers for my fronts too, but im not using them right now. I still need to order the 1.5" for the back, hopefully rc will get them back in stock soon.

Make sure you have enough bite on those front spacers. I think the stud length is fine, but if you use them, check the lugs every once in a while.

check out chevsilver's truck. he has 1.5" out back and they look like they stick otu about the same amount.

I want my fronts to hang out a tad more than the rear, but not like they are now. I think the 1/4 up front and the 1.5 out back will have the look i want
