Got a '66 C25 which I've owned since 1982 and has sat in the garage since 1991. 246,000 miles and currently a POS. Finally getting into the restoration. I'm not looking to make it show quality perfect, but do want it look good. Thinking of having various parts powder coated. Got some small stuff such as fan, water pump pulley, washer reservoir bracket etc ready to go. Was the pulley orange or black? Any suggestions on other stuff? Any reason not to powder coat the air cleaner? And what degree of gloss should that stuff have? Would I be better off painting?

Been into cars for many many years but never did a project like this so learning as I go. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks Matt - thought the pulley was black but was not sure. I talked to the powder coat shop, they can do either high gloss or semi-gloss and I figured semi was probably the way to go, unless I hear otherwise from those who have been through all this before. I'm taking lots of pictures as I take things apart.
