My uncle is selling his 1980 Silverado stepside. It has the original 305 that runs very strong. He just re-finished the wood in the bed. It has 82,500 miles. It will need new tires and the AC needs a recharge. All it needs is a few little modern touches and this thing could be one heck of a sweet ride. If I had the extra cash I would buy it myself. It is a steal at $3,800 obo. Located in Dubuque Iowa 52003.

Is the price high or is it just the terrible economy?

That's a nice truck, perfect for it's era....I like the side pipes. Repaint and new wheels I would roll it.

Thats what I am talking about! Yes, the truck screams 1980, but with some paint/wheel/lowering kit this truck would be bad flipping a$$!

Just let me know! I know he doesn't want to store it this winter and if you pay fuel I would haul it a good distance for you.

If had the money, my truck and trailer would already be on the way to Iowa. I wouldn't change a thing except the tires.

I'm currently trying to bring my 80 Indy Hauler back to stock.
