cam compatability w/ vortec 350

A guy I know will sell me a used cam and 1.6 ratio rockers for a pretty good price. Not sure on the specs of the cam, but just wondering if a cam from a carbed set up would work with the fuel injection? Thanks.

I wish I knew more about the cam itself. What can I get away with w/o having to get my computer tuned again? I understand I may need to upgrade springs if the lift is too much. I'll try to find out more about the cam when I see the guy again. The guy also has some 1.6 ratio rockers and am curious as to how much lift is too much before take a chance of sending the valve into the piston?
