700r4 problems

Im having problems figuring out whats going on with my 700. When I go down the highways my truck will drop out of o0verdrive then drop back down into 3rd? Also sometime when I come to a stop my truck doesnt drop back down into 1st gear. It will start into 2nd but if I pull my shifter down into 1st it will go to first? Somebody help please thanks

i have a 700r4 with tci eltric shift down and b&m shift kit workd fine for a year took the drive shaft outa the tcase to put new u joint on it and a lot of fluid leakd out so re filled it . now u have to start in 1st from a dead stop and manly shift up the rest of the way but on the high way u can floor it and it well shift down and up fine wat is the problem??? my neibro said to much fluid . because it doesnt slip or anything and the tranny was 100% b4 the drive shaft came out .
