i have a 2000 2500 nbs ecsb 6.0 4x4. it has a dual inlet stock muffler.
can i get rid of this and do two seperate mufflers? or dual inlet dual outlet muffler a better way to go. any ideas would be great. all my other trucks had a single pipe and could run a dual outlet muffler to tails.

you can do either, two pipes with two mufflers or single muffler(dual inlets and outlets) with dual pipes. One is just a little cheaper than the other because you just have to buy one muffler, both will flow about the same. The two muffler setup will most likely sound a little better though.

If you go two mufflers, have an H-pipe welded in to balance the pipes.
