Headlight question

I have an 85 Suburban C20 (dual headlights), and I installed one of the cheap Ebay HID kits (without ballast). I wanted to know since I have high/low bulbs in both, is there a way to have all four lights on at one time on low, and then when switched to high still have them on, but just brighter? I was thinking of just buying the upgraded wiring harness from LMC, and then hacking into it for the low/high splice.

Is this possible/safe to do? Any drawbacks?

Not a good idea for single bulb systems as the extra heat generated will melt the assemblies, since you have dual bulb system look for the "brite box" it will do what you are wanting.
