Picked these up to put on my 01 and never got around to it, sold the truck and now have no use for these.

$400 plus shipping, they are boxed up and literally sitting in my truck ready to drop off at fedex.

Sorry guys forgot about the crappy pics, here are some better ones. Im unaware of the mileage on these, I bought them awhile back and dont remember it being listed. They came off a NNBS truck and have had no work done on them and original springs

Curious to know what the gains/benefits are with these heads?

Higher compression with the same flow over 317 heads

I'm researching this like crazy but not coming up with any info that would make me want to do this head swap just yet. I see that these are exactly the same head as the LS6 equipped Vettes with the neat valve stem technology not making it into the truck 243 heads.

If the compression ratio goes up, which I know will bump power but how much I have yet to find info on, will it be enough of a jump to have to stop using 87 octane and instead start having to buy 89 or 92/3 octane fuel?

Sort of looking for a project in the engine mod/power gaining department but also wanting to do my due diligence on this head swap to see if it's just as easy as simply swapping the heads and having an instant and noticeable power gain.

I wish I had the answer for you on that, but truth be told I have always ran 93 in my trucks so it wasnt something I addressed when I was looking into it. The swap should be a simple swap with nothing more than a tune needed to optimize the swap.

Thanks for all your feedback about this. As far as I can tell you have a great price on those very desireable 243 heads so if I decide to move forward on this sort of project, I will let you know.

I'd love to get these heads for my 99 trans am. They are a great upgrade over my stock heads. I'll see if I can come up with the money.
