I'm looking for 800 for the setup. This setup hasnt been modified yet. In order to put it on our trucks you need to drill and tap a few undrilled bosses in the manifold, wire up an injector harness to connect to the factory "spider" plug etc...Here is a link that talks about what needs to be done in detail: http://www.pacificp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=317 . I guess this is the best way to be able to have external fuel injectors and still have everything else fit like factory, so if your going forced induction on a 96 99 vortec you gotta get this on first considering the vortecs are already in a lean condition normally aspirated from the factory with there 19pph hour poppet valves.

can you take the thermostat housing off and take a top view picture of the intake where the thermostat sits

I can but on the first page of the link i provided shows a picture of both truck and marine intakes side by side with the factory thermostat housings off. If you were wondering if your stock truck one will fit, the answer is yes. If you need more pics let me know thanks.

I was wondering about corrosion inside, $ 800 is pricey for a used manifold, not to knock your post or insult you but you can get them from Michigan motorz brand new for $800....I'll offer $400 any more than that in my opinion justifies buying new...once again please don't take it the wrong way

Did you call the painter?

Yeah I called both people that were interested in it in order. We know what happened with the first guy, but I gave painterpaul a buzz and long story short he found out what I thought everyone knew...michigan doesn't sell them anymore, so needless to say I was pretty sure he would buy it based on his previous post but he backed out.

I agree new member just coming out for buying it now. It's rare and at the price it is a steal. I commend you for your friend and your quick response to my questions. There is a lot of rust. No one wants to be stuck with a 650 piece of rusted garage flare. If I had the money to blow like that I would be driving a 11 yr old gas guzzling never a collective car. My offer of 400 stands.

just an observation, but what if you just took some sand paper to the hose inlets that have rust on them and clean them up a bit. seems like 15 minutes of work with a $1 piece of sand paper would make it look a lot more appealing to buyers and probably help it sell faster. I'm not in the market for one, but I had the same thought about the rust that another poster had.
