2wd Lift Kit?

Ok, probably a dumb question but here we go anyway. I am unable to find a lift kit for my 91 Suburban. There evidently used to be a kit but it is no longer available. I could go air springs or something to get a couple inches but don't want to sacrifice ride quality. Any options out there i haven't found? I was thinking possibly unbolting the front subframe and fabricating 3" spacers but haven't crawled under the truck to see how the subframe attatches to the truck frame so i don't know if this is really an option. Any suggestions? The truck is a 91 Suburban 2WD with the 6.2 Diesel and 700R4 Tranny. I could convert to 4X4 but don't really want to sink that much money into it. I'm looking for 3-4 inches.

you have 3 choices 2" body lift part #per 562 3" body lift part # per 563 or put a 2" block in rear and get some coil spring spacers that go in between coils and spread out i would go with the 3" body lift first its only $150 and second it won't effect ride quality and no shock change
