I'm selling one of our unused truck bodies that we're no longer going to use. It's a Reading Truck Body for a short bed (6.5') GM, called the SSE Cap model. We had it on an '88-'98 short bed Chevy (I'm told the cap is built specifically for that make/model truck), however, I do not see any reason why this wouldn't fit and secure into a fullsize shortbed Ford or Dodge. The cap shows very little signs of use, the weather striping is all intact and seals properly, and at one point there was a ladder rack mounted on the top, but the holes are filled with rubber, so leaking should not be a concern. The body has barn doors, a third brake light, front window, two rear storage boxes, and two front bed access panels. It's been sitting off to the side in our 'yard for almost a year now, just so you're aware, however everything functions and operates as it should. I would not hesitate to put this on my truck and go to work without a second thought.
Price is $675 as she sits, but we can be negotiable. All reasonable offers will be considered.
