Well, it took me two years to procure this truck, and only a split second for the compressor in my home air conditioner to self implode. So I've got to part with this in rather fast fashion (in Florida, temps still in the 80s/90s). Truck is a fixer, need a drivetrain (engine/trans) and paint (peeling clearcoat). I have the free and clear title...

what is the story on the original drive train?
Long gone, previous owner blew the radiator, and when it was replaced, filled with water and no coolant. Hard freeze overnight... Boat anchor. Original 4L80 was stolen. Previous owner also swapped in a 383/TH350 combo, but I was planning on building a big block for it.

Truck is still for sale. I got my Impala back up and going, and I'm wanting to build up an LS3 for it. $1000 takes it, clear title.
All I ask to whoever buys it- please fix it. It's already been sitting for while, and I'm not going to have the funds to build it up in the near future and I refuse to be that guy that says "someday I'll fix it..."
Interested in a straight trade? Let me know.

I got it Leo... I had to think about it for a while, but I will not have the funds to restore that car way it needs to be especially given it's incredibly rare nature. I will have to pass on it.
OK, thats fine, i'll continue my work on it to hopefully bring it back to original. good luck with your sale.

Nope, that's my buddy Vic. He's already got a drivetrain for it, and he will actually put it back together. An interesting note, there are five generations of full size Chevy's in that pic! My neighbor's 71 K10 in the the garage, the 85 K10 across the cul de sac, the 92 on the trailer, my 99 in the foreground and Vic's 09.

:D I didn't even notice that. Very cool picture then and I'm glad that the truck is going to a good home that will build it back up and get it back on the road
Glad to hear it's going to be whole again. IF we had worked out a deal, you'd have said good bye earlier.
