I have an "06 Tahoe with factory Bose system. I tied into the rear door speaker lines to run my line level converter. The unit I bought is a non-adjustable and reduces the power 10:1. I was curious how many volts or watts the radio puts out to the amp, and how many volts/ watts the factory amp puts out. The amp I have is good up to 8 volts input. It has decent punch but I have the gain all the way up and I have the "bass boost" turned up most of the way. Obviously that isn't good so if I can determine the out put of the radio/factory amp, then I might be able to remove the line level converter and get a much better result.
