Hi All:
Well, I'm now moved to Indiana (in the woods and hills east of Bloomington, west of Nashville), and the work I'm having done to get the house shipshape after a decade or so of neglect is coming to completion. I'm moving on to the "yard". I have some deadfall I want to clean up, but I need to pull it off the cliff and out into the meadow to chain it up. I'm not going to chain it up on a 45 degree slope!
So, I'm looking at putting some tow hooks on the 78 K10 so I can drag these out of the woods into the meadow. I see the tow hooks with the two mounting holes, such as in the LMC catalog. Are those holes in the frame rails already? OK, I'll look as soon as the sun comes up, but I also need to know: Do they work with the stock bumper and trim, or is there a bumper mod? Any issues putting these on, other than not opening up your skull on one when skidding out from underneath?
Thanks for any input, and Happy Motoring!
