View Full Version : OEM 03+ NBS LED-converts (smoked)

Smoked 03+ tail lights converted to LED using voltage regulation and name-brand phillips snapLEDs (same LEDs used by Toyota, GM, and others). Smoked with automotive base/clear coat (not VHT). Plug and play into oem 3157 sockets. High-powered reverse lighting approximately doubles OEM light output. Usually asking $400. I will take $350+ shipping OBO because of finicky plugs (they attatch just fine, but sometimes take some wiggling ;, this was also my first set using Plug and Play).

i am curious. how were these done? did you break the taillights apart to do the LED's? if so what all parts were used for this?

This thread will hopefully answer your questions. Yes, the lights are pulled apart and custom hand-built LED arrays are designed and installed. The set for sale in this thread is my first plug and play set using the 03+ tail lights.
