79 chevy

Hey guys I am about to buy a 79 chevy c10 pickup 2wd with a six cyl and a 1 ton rearend for 600 dollars i just wanted to know if its a good price. the body is fairly decent but it has a little rust in the drivers side floor pan. oh and as much as i hate it a flatbed has replaced the stock bed

that's a really good price. you should be able to sell the flatbed or trade it for a factory bed if it's decently well built. you didn't say, but what transmission does it have? which 6, 250 or 292? post links to pics when you get the chance...
