No the plugs are different and are wired differently. You are better off just trying to find an aftermarket over lay that still goes to 100.

provided the 120mph cluster is from the same generation of truck, it should swap with out any issues. i also believe that the 99-02 clusters don't require the programming to correct the mileage, since its stored on the trucks computer, rather then in the cluster itself.

What are you smoking?

As long as you get a cluster from a GMT800 escalade or denali, it is a direct swap

I apologize. I assumed you were talk about an esclade cluster from an 03-07. As long as its within the same generation yes they will swap.

FYI I'm not smoking anything. Thanks for the kind words...

they do require the reprogramming, the local dealer quoted me an hour worth of labor to have it done :D

The airbag light will be on after doing that though, there is a way to fix that problem but I'm having troubles figuring out exactly what it was that caused that.

The mileage is stored in the cluster on my 2001 2500, not in the truck's ECM.

The airbag light wont come on in a 2001. I have a 2001 Suburban and I swapped clusters. Plug an play. No issues at all. I think I read somewhere that will happen in 1999's though.

I had a 99 and an 02 silverado that both wore Denali clusters. Both were plug & play without lights. I just had to reprogram the odometer to correct.
