Say what?!
A 4/6 drop has nothing to do with how the hood clears your engine. :D

Well I was think when you body lift, the hood clearence increases, and I thought it reverses when you drop.

I get it, it's just funny (to me anyway) because a 4/6 isn't a body drop, it's a suspension drop. :D

Of course not, I was making sure because I have a 1.25 inch higher than stock rise on it. Richard I read threw some of your builds, I like the black truck alot. Makes me worried that I'm making stupid teenager mistakes on my truck :dunno:

The fit is fine but that air cleaner assembly is a whole different story.

He's in Maine; he can't help it. Note the valve covers have the same...wait for it...PATINA. :D (I hate that word since would-be rat rodders have overused it to death.)
Reminds me of that '88/'89 that was on eBay with a million miles on it. Guy was in New Hampshire I think?

Yea I would pick up some engine enamel if it wasn't cold, also I really don't wanna sand that stuff down

Doesn't take much to do, and the air cleaner doesn't even need engine enamel, but the valve covers are better off with it.
I did mine, same/worse climate, just pull them in the morning, sand them outside, the get 2 coats of paint on in the basement, re-install in the evening.

Just think about how spiffy it could look with a little work...

I couldn't resist the call from the leftover can of chevy engine orange I had, after I cut my stock housing into an open element. :D
