I found a box I want to go behind my back seat that will fit 2 8's. I want some sa-8's and wanted to know how much space they take in a sealed box?

I'm sure you can find the specs online but a Sa10 asks for .5 si I'm sure the 8s are even less. So I would make it as small as possible

thats a good starting point, I can fit 3 of them back there if the 10's take .5, maybe 4

yeah .3-.5 would be plenty imo

sa-8's are happier in a ported box

almost every sub is better in a ported box, but some times room doesent allow for one, so you go sealed... a proper sealed box will sound just as good.. kicker L7's seem to get louder sealed also ive heard

I think mounting depth is going to be more of an issue than space. They are little monsters and can have a deep mounting depth.

When you build the box just make sure you have about an inch off the bottom plate/motor so that it can cool itself properly.
