Just bought an 84' 86'

Hey guys haven't been on here for long time since I sold my 1995 Chev and bought a little Jetta. I missed having my old beast of a truck so I picked up and 1984 4x4 with a 1986 2wd Cab off a friends dad. The truck is an unfinished project but driveable it has a rebuilt 350 not sure what all is done to the engine but she goes. I don't have alot of experience with these old trucks but hopefully ill get to do some work on it this winter and learn along the way.

As you can see it has new metal and paint on the front end of the truck but the rest is still original not a bad truck for $3000.00 cdn.

And I see I'll need a new sig haha.

lots of potential looks straight how are the bottom of doors any rust on inner part ?? (not the outside edge)

Solid lookin' truck! What are your overall plans for it? Will it just be a "beater" or do you have restore plans?

I plan on slowly restoring the truck cleaning it up little by little eventually it will be used for hunting, hauling my sled and boat all those fun things. It has a bit of surface rust under the doors and on the cab corners but the only place rusted through is the rear fenders and its not to bad.
