Nv 3500 shifter q's

I have an nv 3500 and i need a short throw shifter for it. I thought i had seen a post with pics that was how to extend a stock shifter. i did some searching and couldnt find it, i thougt id ask for some help. or if any one has one for sale that would work too lol thanks peoples.
