:scared:
Just got my 93 2drBlazer back on the road.
Went to get a tranny filter/oil change at local trany shop.
Then of course why would anything go right for me in 2011: fluid smells burnt, some black particles in the pan. They tell me not to go on a long trip because its going to go.
I had a leak in the front hose to my tranny cooler. I let the oil level drop, maybe a bit too low?.....only once did the tranny kinda lag going round a corner one time - then I kept it topped up.
This is a 4L60E HD rebuild, with the shift kit and the corvette servos, bigger tranny cooler.... only 50K km's on it.
I hope to GOD that my negligence on a F**KING $2 rubber hose issue doesn't cost me $3K.:chair:
I went to my TRUSTED mechanic friend and he told me the guy I took it too was a scammer and that it was common to find particles in there from the material on the clutch plates in the oil?????
Is it common to find a bit of particles in the oil when doing this service?
