Hey ive got a 95 chevy 1500 and it runs extremely well for a 305 but it acts got a oversize cam. I bought it from a guy who had the motor rebuilt by a guy who builds race engines. its always done it and theit acts like the computer is tring to compinsate for something when its tring to lope is there a way i can check to see if the cam is bigger then stock?Vacuum test anything?:cool:

Maybe check vacuum. Should be 18" or higher I think. Stock is much higher than that. Do a search for tbi vacuum and you may find out the actual readings.

Best way to know... pull the timing cover off and look at the front of the cam. Not the easiest but it will eliminate any "what if"s... there may or may not be a number on it, just forewarning.
