I was looking in to getting a cheap powder coating gun to paint a used lift I just bought. Can I use a heat gun or do I need to put in an oven. Or is there something that I would be better off painting the lift with. It will be offroad use but nothing extreme.

you could paint it with por15 then top coat it with one of their hardnose paints....

youre not gonna cure powder coat properly without an oven or curing it in UV lights...

What do you consider a top coat. Like get some paint and reducer and spRaying over it.

Proper powdercoating requires an oven.

por15 is incredibly tough but if its exposed to UV light its discolors(doesnt lose strength though) so they recommend putting a topcoat with uv protectors over it..

Yeah I didn't really want to cook it in the house oven lol
