I would do a carb then. If you are running a t400 then it will work better. The induction system is what held the vortec back.

what should i run to limit my fuel pressure because it has a 60 psi fuel pump and a carb needs way less.
should i do a different fuel pump or is there a pressure regulator that will work

8-12 pnds fuel pressure (roughly) and holly red regulator from autoparts store also will need hei distributor and heads machined to fit carburated intake.
