CD player back to factory tape deck on 1993 1500

I bought a 1993 truck with an aftermarket CD player and the guy who installed it decided to cut the wires instead of spending a few extra bucks for the plug and play harness. Do I have any options outside of trying to make the wires fit back in to the factory style plug for the tape deck or is there somewhere else on the wiring harness taht I can disconnect these wires and replace?

Its part of the whole car wiring harness. Best thing to do is try and wire back into the factory plug if you have it and there is enough wires sticking out of it to do it. If there isnt, have fun with a meter and trying to figure out which wire is which.

That's what I was afraid of.

Its definitely possible though. Ive had to do it before. Its very time consuming and you need to know what your looking for and doing also. Good luck on the fix man. Let us know what you do and how it turns out.

I've got the radio and wiring harness finally. My last question is where in the heck do you mount the radio box... is it right above the gas pedal? Does anyone have any pics?
