1998 c1500 5 speed , all stock ( except 5.7 swap in place of 5.0 using all factory parts) truck has had no issues except vibrating fuel level gauge, understand this is common to this truck.

Problem.... Battery will go dead after 3-4 sitting.

Have not load tested battery.

Pulled all fuses and checked for amp draw when eveything shut down ( ignition off)

Radio pulled -0.1 amp.. assume normal as display is on all the time

Horn circut drawing 1.0 amp at all times, even with horn relay removed.

I am charging the battery up now with horn fuse removed, will see if problem goes away.

Is there something else on this circut that will cause a draw at all times??

Interesting. The battery in my 97 K2500 goes dead after 3-4 days of sitting too. We might possibly have the same problem.

My truck is a 98...just went and pulled the fuse on mine, no drain on it at all

Same here. Pulled the fuse on mine and haven't had to charge my battery since.
