Anyone got pics on how they routed there exhaust with longtube headers? Theway the gas tank sits on one side kinda makes it a challenge to run them both just straight back. The shop that did it must not of known anything about muffler placement and x pipe placement my mufflers are almost at the back of my truck and the x pipe is right behind them then it has a couple foot of pipe and ends :whatever:

I ran both of my pipes on the pass side. the driver side header pipe crosses over between the engine and trans (around the torque converter dust cover) and then 90 degrees to run parallel with the pass side pipe. From what I have heard, the further back the muffler is the less drone prone you are. I would personally put the x over as far forward as I could for the drafting effect. I will se if I can get a pic of my setup. Are you running converters? I did like what the factory does with converter placement, they mount the converters the same distance from the front (so if your driver side pipe has to cross over to the Pass side then the cat is mounted right after the 90 and the pass side pipe is moved further back to keep the distances the same. (although you want the converters as close to the engine possible.

My exhaust is a straight pipe to my muffler on the pass side, and on the driver side, the exhaust goes over the tail end of my transfer case and into my muffler, then its dumped after the cab. Its eventually going to go out in front of the tire on the pass side once i get tips.
