Hey guys, im new here i read a bunch about tuning the tbi engines somewhere here i saw someone said that jet makes an adjustable fuel pressure regulator that will increase pressure with the throttle as give the truck gas, all of the jet reg's i saw never specified anything like this i was wondering if anyone knew the model number or could post a link... also im going to order the hypertech power charger later on tonight but ive never seen what goes on top of it, will a standard open element filter just fit right on top? anyway thank you in advance for any replies. btw i did the flip the air cleaner ld trick and its awesome if its nothing but sound its still worth doing.

Run the stock setup with the power charger and stick a quarter under you fuel pressure regulator, you don't need an adjustable one.

i want an open element filter though, the stock aircleaner housing is restrictive and stupid.

Nope it isn't, it flows plenty for a 305, just mod it some like this:

hmm that seems legit haha not bad for being free idk i just like the look of the open element more and i dont care for having the ram air hose there

Well if looks and a lighter wallet is better then a better performing and running truck then go ahead.

they do not make open elements for dual studs, you can convert to a single stud though or drill holes to make it work.

Hes right quarter will work realy good, and u wont have to fool around setting the pressure with it. But if u want to spend the money u can go with an adjustable one. Keep the stock housing and do that mod or see if u can find one off a 95 3/4 i think some come without that pre heater

A TB spacer will be great, make sure to get fuel line extensions or take to hold down off the bell housing to free the fuel lines.

I think you are refering to a vacuum referenced FPR. As vac decreases FP increases. I have read about them in other posts IDK much about them but I've read they are difficult to tune for, and used to get a more stable idle with the bigger injectors.
