Need some suggestions (97 Silverado)

Okay, so my truck needs to quiet down some...(no mufflers).

Basically my plan is this, cut off the tips and dump the exhaust behind the rear axle. Simple fix for the ugly tips. Plus im putting on stockers, so big tips look weird.

Now, i need some muffler suggestions (prefer a video if possible). I want something that is still throaty sounding under hard acceleration and has a nice tone to it when cruising. Drone is not quite a huge deal for me (seeing as i currently run no mufflers).

Im thinking about Flowmaster 40 (hate all you want, sounds good) and Borla XR1s (never have heard them on a 5.7 so unsure).

Id prefer to not break the bank on mufflers as well, so post suggestions away :D

are you looking for a mellow sound or a more chambered sound? ive like the the dynomax super turbo for a mellow sound and ive like the glasspacks for a more louder sound.

Well im more so looking for a mix of the two. Glasspacks are definitely out of the question, i want something with more tone than that. Im surprisingly leaning more towards Flowmaster, just because ive never heard the Borla XR1 on a 5.7.
